Adult Education

Discipleship is the inward process of character formation for every Christian. Through understanding the Bible, we come to know God and learn to follow him. Because discipleship is an ongoing process, we encourage everyone in the Greenwich community to find a Sunday school class (below), Small Group, Women's Group, or Men's Group where we can grow together in faith and understanding.

Sunday School, 9:30 – 10:30 am

Sojourners seeks to learn and grow together through discussion of thought-provoking devotional books from authors like Max Lucado. Sojourners meets in the library on the second floor of the education building. For more information, contact Linda Spittle, 703-754-7820, ayardnut@verizon.net.

The Sanctuary Class highlights major themes of Christian faith and character formation. Currently, they are studying “Experiencing God” by Henry Blackaby. The class meets in the fellowship hall, led by Paul Ruby, 703-753-1492, pruby@greenwichpres.org.

Sunday School, 11:00 am – Noon

Everyday Theology focuses on the intersection between Scripture and everyday life. Led by Associate Pastor Eric Beckman, this class begins a new series, ‘Thinking Like a Christian’, on Sunday, October 4. Everyday Theology meets in the fellowship hall at 11am. For more information, contact Eric, 703-209-7125, ebeckman@greenwichpres.org.
