July Scripture Memory Challenge

Matthew 6:24

“No one can serve two masters.

Either you will hate the one and love the other,

or you will be devoted to one and despise the other.

You cannot serve both God and money.”

The Church Office will be closed on July 4 & 5

in honor of Independence Day.

All Church Ice Cream Social

Sunday, July 14 (6:00pm)

Please join us in the fellowship hall & grounds for ice cream with all the toppings! This is a great opportunity to get to know others in our Greenwich community.

Artists Wanted

We are looking for folks who are interested in displaying artwork in our lobby in the late summer or early fall.  The show will feature multiple artists, so all you’ll need is one or two pieces.  If you are interested in participating, please contact the office at 703.754.7933 or office@greenwichpres.org.

Mission Update & Opportunities

Refugee Ministry Update

We have some exciting news! Just two weeks after our Sunday morning forum welcoming our refugee family from last year, we have been assigned another family!   We will be providing help with furnishing an apartment and other tangible assistance for a family of three, parents with a three-year-old son, who will arrive in early July from Afghanistan and will be living in Manassas.

If you would like to be included in our distribution list for folks who are helping with this Refugee ministry, please contact the church office at office@greenwichpres.org.  We invite your prayers for the family.

Operation Christmas Child

We’re collecting donations for our Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.  We need school supplies, shorts and t-shirts, flipflops or plastic shoes, sunglasses, games, dolls and any other shoebox items (no foods or liquids).  Donations can be placed in the green collection box (labeled OCC) in the lobby.

Fauquier Family Shelter

The Fauquier Family Shelter is in need of a large supply of paper towels over the summer. If you can donate, please leave the paper towels in a bin in the lobby or in the hall by the office.
