Call to Worship
Leader: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
People: Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Leader: “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”
People: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart, and I will be found by you,” declares the Lord.
Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven; to his feet your tribute bring. Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, evermore his praises sing. Alleluia, alleluia! Praise the everlasting King!
Praise him for his grace and favor, to his people in distress. Praise him, still the same as ever, slow to chide, and swift to bless. Alleluia, alleluia! Glorious in his faithfulness!
Angels, help us to adore him; you behold him face to face. Sun and moon, bow down before him, dwellers all in time and space. Alleluia, alleluia! Praise with us the God of grace!
God of grace, you have given us minds to know you, hearts to love you, and voices to sing your praise. Fill us with your Spirit, that we may celebrate your glory and worship you in spirit and in truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Take My Life and Let It Be
Take my life and let it be, consecrated, Lord, to thee. Take my hands and let them move, at the impulse of thy love, At the impulse of thy love.
Take my lips and let them be, filled with messages from thee, Take my intellect and use, every power as thou shalt choose, Every power as thou shalt choose.
Take my will and make it thine; it shall be no longer mine. Take my heart it is thine own; it shall be thy royal throne, It shall be thy royal throne.
Take my love; my Lord, I pour, at thy feet its treasure store. Take myself, and I will be, ever, only, all for thee, Ever, only, all for thee.
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
