Neighboring Initiative

This month, Associate Pastor Eric Beckman is leading an interactive discussion from RightNow Media on The Art of Neighboring. Most people come to know God through the ministry of faithful Christians who are willing to reach out to them with acts of compassion and words of encouragement. The current crisis gives us a great opportunity to figure out new ways to live out Jesus' command to love our neighbors. Come join in this challenge to build deeper connections with the people around you and glorify God in your neighborhood!

  1. Names: Learn the names of your 8 closest neighbors and start talking with them!
  2. Connect: Take some first & next steps to learn more about your neighbors and connect with them.
  3. Discuss: Join in zoom conversations to encourage one another.  For more information, contact Eric to join the initiative: ebeckman@greenwichpres.org.
  4. Watch the The Art of Neighboring on RightNow Media.

Greenwich Pen Pal Project

We are using this unique season in the world to encourage the lost art of writing letters! We encourage you to send a letter to someone else in the church community you would like to get to know and care for. If you need help finding someone in a different season of life, please contact Haley Beals, hbeals@greenwichpres.org. We will match you up with someone in the Greenwich community who is also committed to writing letters and build connections in a brand new (very old) way! If you can't remember everything about how to send a letter, check out this awesome video from the West family!

Campus Stewards

Greenwich has the blessing of dedicated volunteers, young and old, as Campus Stewards and “Vinedressers”, whose donations of time and talent, help to offset some of the costs for maintenance and upkeep of our campus, that would otherwise be paid to outside contractors. In the upcoming weeks, if you might be willing to contribute some of your time and talent to help other Campus Stewards with some small hands-on projects around the Campus, please contact Mike Simms bg.mikesimms@gmail.com

Give Blood

If you are healthy and not in a vulnerable population, consider a blood donation through the Red Cross. You can find nearby blood drives on the Blood Donor App, www.redcrossblood.org, or 1-800-REDCROSS.

Prayer During COVID-19

The most important action we can take during this crisis is to turn our hearts and our minds toward the Lord in prayer. Check out our Prayer Page for a guide to prayer and other resources.
