WAYS TO SERVE

Here is a current list of opportunities to serve the community and ideas for being a great neighbor.

Food Collection

We are collecting food and supplies for local distribution programs! Please bring any of the following or similar items to worship on Sundays:

  • Paper Towels
  • Cereal (if possible low sugar)
  • Canned Fruit & Pre-Packaged Fruit
  • Canned Vegetables & Beans
  • Canned Chicken and Tuna
  • Cooking Oil
  • Boxed Mac & Cheese
  • Pasta Sauce & Noodles
  • Cleaning Supplies - cleaning wipes & disinfectant (w/bleach)

Shelter Meals

We regulary prepare and serve homemade meals at local food distribution centers. If you would like to help with preparation and delivery, look for announcements in our newsletter and bulletin or contact Eric Beckman, ebeckman@greenwichpres.org.

Greenwich Pen Pal Project

We are using this unique season in the world to encourage the lost art of writing letters! We encourage you to send a letter to someone else in the church community you would like to get to know and care for. If you need help finding someone in a different season of life, please contact the church office. We will match you up with someone in the Greenwich community who is also committed to writing letters and build connections in a brand new (very old) way! If you can't remember everything about how to send a letter, check out this awesome video from the West family!

Campus Stewards

Greenwich has the blessing of dedicated volunteers, young and old, as Campus Stewards and “Vinedressers”, whose donations of time and talent, help to offset some of the costs for maintenance and upkeep of our campus, that would otherwise be paid to outside contractors. In the upcoming weeks, if you might be willing to contribute some of your time and talent to help other Campus Stewards with some small hands-on projects around the Campus, please contact Mike Simms bg.mikesimms@gmail.com

Prayer During COVID-19

The most important action we can take during this crisis is to turn our hearts and our minds toward the Lord in prayer. Check out our Prayer Page for a guide to prayer and other resources.
